Shantae Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch

Shantae and her friends are coming to Nintendo Switch in full HD with tons of new content in the form of the 'Ultimate Edition,' containing all the DLC! The newest entry in the Shantae series features vivid, detailed high-definition graphics that make it resemble a playable TV show, allowing players to control Shantae as she dances and navigates through 2.5D platforming action.

The 'Pirate Queen's Quest' DLC gives players the opportunity to play as Shantae's arch-nemesis, Risky Boots, in a whole new storyline. Meanwhile, the 'Friends to the End' DLC introduces ethereal new levels and a special boss encounter as Shantae's pals Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops enter her nightmare to save her from certain DOOM. The 'Costume Mode' DLC provides three new arcade-style adventures for Shantae to enjoy while showcasing her trademark belly dance moves.

After completing Shantae's storyline, players can challenge themselves by playing a whole new storyline as one of the many other characters. The gear-based ability system from 'Shantae and the Pirate's Curse' makes a return in the 'Pirate Queen's Quest' DLC expansion, allowing Risky Boots to discover new gear to access different areas.

In the 'Friends to the End' DLC expansion, players can experience all-new gameplay as Shantae's friends enter her mind - glide through the air as Sky or toss your head across the level as Rottytops. Finally, in the 'Costume Mode' DLC expansion, players can dress Shantae in different outfits to challenge new stages - whether it's sneaking around as Ninja Shantae, soaking up the sun as Beach Shantae, or enforcing the law as Officer Shantae.
