Councilor Ito, a cunning figure, orchestrates a private banquet for Sei's close allies Saito and Nagakura, putting their lives in jeopardy by extending their curfew.

Romance blossoms among these "swordsmen," amidst the backdrop of a nation in turmoil. Sei finds herself entangled in a web of intrigue and danger, navigating the complexities of loyalty, love, and honor in a time when every decision could mean life or death.
